Children have diverse learning styles, interests, talents, skills, abilities, and educational needs. We aim to meet all of these accordingly by inculcating a structured and individualized plan into our curriculum. This is why we have a low child-to-teacher ratio; we want to ensure that all children are well-guided and attended to as they achieve their developmental milestones. Together with the children’s parents, we help improve the overall performance of every child through quality education. At Scholars Academy Child Development Center, children are encouraged to enhance their creativity, sense of responsibility, and ability to make good choices at their tender age through a curriculum that covers all areas of learning, including math and communication.
Following the Commonwealth of Virginia Early Child Framework, the learning strategy that we adapt into our curriculum is grouped into the following areas:
- Personal, social, and emotional development
- Communication
- Physical development
- Literacy
- Expressive arts and design
The parents’ input in the success of their child is something that we give utmost importance to. As their parents, you may choose to enroll your children in a full-time or a part-time program. The programs that we offer are available for infants and toddlers, as well as pre-kindergarten and school-age children.
